Abstract

This volume offers a comprehensive overview of neuropsychological approaches to the study of creativity across psychiatric and neurological groups. In chapters that progress sequentially from case series investigations in neurology and psychiatry to single case studies, the researchers render salient insights that enable a more lucid understanding of the inner workings of creative mind. Treatment of the subject matter contained in this volume is both broad and comprehensive.


About the Editors

Paul Kiritsis, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist, interdisciplinary scholar, artist, hypnotherapist, and poet. He has authored six books. His clinical interests include schizophrenia and hallucinations, the temporal-lobe epilepsies and their neuropsychiatric co-morbidities, and the neurodegenerative disorders. He is profoundly interested in the connection between creativity and disorder.
