This photograph shows various award-winners and committee members at the launch of the Literary Periodical of the Greek Australian Cultural League. Dr. Paul Kiritsis was awarded the second prize in the 2012 Literary Competition hosted by the Greek-Australian Cultural League. His poem “The Old World” won the second prize in the category of poetry in the English language. The contest was judged by Cathy Alexopoulos (president of the GACL), Alexander Giannadakis (educationalist, philologist), and Dionysios Mertyris (philologist, linguist, PhD student).
