The official book launch for Paul Kiritsis’s new book is scheduled for Friday June 9th, 2023, at 7pm. It will be held in the Club Room of The Cardinal Apartments complex, which is located on Level 3 of 1 Franklin St, Redwood City. Guests will use the video intercom at the front door to announce themselves (use Unit 701 for the ButterflyMX intercom).
The event itself will be semi-structured and consist of an inaugural social mixer and meet and greet with the author, followed by an official introduction, book presentation and reading, Q&A with the author, and book purchase/signing. The presentation will give a cursory expose of world myths as multifaceted narratives attempting to make sense out of “no sense” and descry order from chaos and an all too often unpredictable time-space continuum. Following this, Kiritsis will dovetail into the world of Hellenistic mythology, and specifically into the exalted myths which he has reinterpreted and reimagined in “Tales of a Spiritual Sun.” The session will culminate with select readings from the book. Those present will also be privy to snippets of a yet-to-be-released work.
A selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks/nibbles, and sweets will be offered. Dress is smart casual.
